Grundy will beat Deanna when "Hell" freezes over(credit: Hells Cold Day Blog)
Deanna Goodson and Steven Murphy have been engaging in a war of words since our dear (and sometimes silly) editor mentioned on her personal blog that “women are better poker players than men.” Murphy, a man, took exception to this post and called Deanna ‘blatantly sexist’.
Deanna, who is not one to sit back and take things idly, challenged Murphy, aka Grundy, to a match. The duo will play poker in January at either Full Tilt or Poker Stars in a $10 match. The name, date and time of the game has yet to be decided.
Deanna hopes to have better results against Murphy than Annette Obrestad did against Doyle “Texas Dolly” Brunson at the WSOPE this fall.
