High Stakes Poker will be filming its fifth season from December 19th – 21st at the Golden Nugget in Las Vegas. The popular cash game, the only one of its kind on television, airs on the Game Show Network (GSN) in the United States.
This season the buy-in is $200,000, which, according to network officials is the biggest “buy-in for an entire run of a television series.” AJ Benza and Gabe Kaplan will make their return as hosts.
2008 WSOP Main Event champion Peter Eastgate is expected to take part in the event as is 11-time bracelet winner Phil Hellmuth. Johnny Chan, Doyle Brunson, Phil Laak, Antonio Esfandiari, Ivan Demidov, Ilari Sahamies and Tom Dwan.
