This is from the “We can’t believe we have to say it (but will be happy to talk about it)” file: 2005 World Series of Poker champion Joe Hachem is not really dating trouble-personified Brittney Spears. Really.
We were fooled into clicking on the various rumor links out there linking the two highly unlikely people together, which turned out to be a little fun being had by Wicked Chops Poker. They put up pictures of Hachem and Adnan Ghalib, the man who really is linked to Spears, and drew the connection with the tenuous line of swarthy complexion and soul patch. Ghalib and Hachem do look a little bit like each other, if you turn your head sideways, sort of squint a little bit, and start shouting “OZZYOZZYOZZY”.
Hachem is a married fella and seems to be wise enough not to involved with someone like Spears, who has been in a world of media trouble lately with rumored drug problems and issues with custody of her two kids. But, hey, we couldn’t resist following the story to see what it was about.
