Negreanu, Lindgren, Smith and Ng in video game showdown

Poker pros Evelyn Ng, Daniel Negrenau, Erik Lindgren and Gavin Smith played poker by playing Excitebots.

In a clever marketing move by Nintendo, the makers of fantasy motorbike racing game Excitebots: Trick Racing, four big name poker pros were brought together to compete against each other doing what they do best – playing poker – in an unusual and unfamiliar format – via racing game.

The following video was cleverly put together to resemble the format of ESPN’s World Series of Poker shows, and the set up was designed for quick elimination. Each round players would try to make the best poker hands by running over poker cards with their Excitebots, and get points for how they finished the race.
