Patrik Antonius (credit: Full Tilt Poker)

Patrik Antonius is fearless. He takes on the likes of Gus Hansen, Allen Cunningham, Ilari “Ziigmund” Sahamies, Cole South, David Benyamine and more regularly in the Pot Limit Omaha high stakes games at Full Tilt. The pots there are often in the six figures. Antonius has also challenged Doyle Brunson to a million-dollar heads-up match and will allow the legend to choose the game. In addition, he plays live with the likes of Brunson and his crew in the big game over at the Bellagio.

The duo is also supposed to meet on another type of green – the golf course – later this year.

Apparently, golf is Antonius’ “favorite thing to do”. At least, according to his blog it is. Antonius had his assistant set up a high stakes golf match with none other than Daniel Negreanu. Negreanu, who loves golf almost as much as winning WSOP bracelets – he recently took down his fourth in the $2,000 Limit Hold’em Tournament – readily accepted. The duo played in teams. The stakes, as Antonius defines them, were “$20,000 for low team total on every hole and $20,000 for individual low score on each hole.”

At one point, Antonius and his team mate were up $140,000. However, Negreanu battled back and finished the day with a profit of $20k. Antonius claims that there will be a rematch ‘next week’ and RawVegas.tv will be there to film it.

Now if that weren’t enough, Antonius is not done issuing challenges. He’s looking to play against the likes of Durrr, OMGClayAiken, trex313, and Urindanger. As he says, “I am looking for action and I want a chance to play against the best. I will play any of you in any game on Full Tilt.”
