Peter Eastgate, 2008 World Series of Poker champ, takes time out from a busy day of gathering chips to speak to PokerStars during the European Poker Tour Grand Final.
He surprised the world by winning the 2008 WSOP main event, and is a great representation for the Face of Poker – Peter Eastgate, a young poker pro from Denmark. Monte Carlo may be more in his neck of the woods than Las Vegas, but Eastgate seems equally at home anywhere there is poker being played, as he shares in this video from PokerStars TV.
At 23 years of age, Eastgate also defeated the long running record of being the youngest player ever to win the WSOP (NOT the WSOPE) – overturning Phil Hellmuth, who won his championship back when he was 24.
Young fella though he may be, Peter knows his poker, and he knows his opponents, as he shares his experiences with the viewers in this video.
