Ivey Bets $1m on Football’s Biggest Game

Deanna Goodson - 1 Feb 2009

Phil Ivey is not afraid to put his money where his mouth is. The multi-WSOP bracelet holder, who is the reigning LA Poker Classic champ for at least another few weeks, bet Barry Greenstein $1,000,000 on the Super Bowl during his weekly chat on PokerRoadRadio.

Ivey didn’t say which side he was rooting for (smart money’s on the Steelers because we say so – hehe). The bet has been placed through the Bellagio and Greenstein happily accepted.
