Nick “Stinko_Mikko” Rainey has finished his first week of an attempt to break the Sit & Go World Record. He’s trying to play 16,000 sngs in just one month. He hopes to simultaneously make a profit of $10,000 while playing at Full Tilt Poker alone.
If Rainey succeeds in his quest, he will beat the previous record by 5,000 games.
Nick started playing poker while traveling the junior tennis circuit. While an athlete at USC, he began playing live poker and was hooked on the game. In 2003, he began playing and studing SNGs and decided he’d found his niche.
Rainey is a PokerVT pro and became one in 2008. He specializes in (what else?) instructing players on Sit & Go strategy.
