A Weekend with Daniel Negreanu – Announcement

Serena DaSilva - 14 Apr 2008

Daniel Negreanu, aka Kid Poker, is one of the top poker players of all time. Nearly 34, the still baby-faced Canadian has two World Poker titles and three WSOP bracelets already. By the end of 2007, his live tournament winnings near the $10,000,000 mark. The affable guy, who’s a fixture at “Bobby’s Big Game” at the Bellagio, has tutored celebrities and professionals alike. He’s a master at the ‘read’ and often freaks other players out at the table because he seems to just know what they’re holding.

A member of Team Poker Stars and the best friend of one Jennifer Harman Traniello, Negreanu has authored articles for CardPlayer, built a sizeable forum at Full Contact Poker and starred in a video game called Stacked with Daniel Negreanu.

We could go on and on about Negreanu’s accomplishments, but…you get the point, right? The man is scary good.

Many people would consider his advice on the game invaluable. In August, 18 participants (10 slots are already gone) will get the chance to spend an entire weekend with the poker prodigy. They will receive one-on-one poker instruction and a VIP “Las Vegas experience.”

Set for August 8-10, 2008 “A Weekend with Daniel Negreanu” costs $15,000. Players will kick off the experience with a private BBQ held at Negreanu’s own home. Players will stay at The Venetian on the Vegas Strip. Negreanu will lead seminars on topics such as bluffing, tournament and cash strategy and odds. Then, the players can apply their learning on the felt in a live workshop where Negreanu will analyze their play.
