Tom Dwan is making inroads as a poker player. He’s keeping things close to even with Patrik Antonius on the durrr challenge. He’s taken big pots off of Gus Hansen and gone toe to toe with online rounders like Phil “OMGClayAiken” and Ilari “Ziigmund” Sahamies.
Earlier this week, Dwan had more than $2million spread out over several high stakes tables and was killing at most of them. That is until he faced a player by the name of Phil Ivey.
In the biggest hand of the night, Dwan and Ivey both turned a straight. The river gave Ivey an improbable full house and $285,418. Overall, Dwan pulled a $600,000 profit for the night…just not against Ivey.
