Tom “durrrr” Dwan and Patrik Antonius are in the midst of their 50,000 hand high stakes challenge. On Friday, March 20th, the duo played more than 450 hands. Patrik Antonius came out the big winner with $161,086 for the session. This puts him at more than $100,000 ahead in the overall challenge so far.
The two played for less than one hour and a half because durrrr was having some computer problems. In a game this large, a disconnection can cost thousands upon thousands of dollars so Dwan opted out, with Antonius’ blessing, so he could fix his machine.
So far Dwan and Antonius have played 5,517 hands out of the 50,000. Antonius has won 2,487 of the pots and Dwan 3,010. Thus far, they’ve wagered more than $30,000,000.
