XP Events Auctions Off WSOP Final Table

Deanna Goodson - 17 Nov 2008

The World Series of Poker and XP Events have joined forces to auction off the very table that the November Nine used to make history a week ago. The final table is just one of the offerings available including decks of cards, chips, dealer buttons, table felts and more.

The auction began soon after the final table wrapped up at WSOPshop.com and will end on November 24th, 2008. As WSOP Director of Marketing Ty Stewart said, “This auction is the ultimate bragging rights for any home game player, to own a piece of the game's history. This is the first time that the public has had the opportunity to bid on authentic items from the World Series of Poker Main Event, and the centerpiece of the auction will be the Final Table itself.”

XP Events, which is taking care of running the auction, has also signed a multi-year deal with the WSOP’s retail merchandising operations partner and will continue to operate the WSOPshop.com web site for years to come.
