One of the reasons we love Patrik Antonius – aside from the bedroom eyes, the chiseled jaw line, the movie star looks – is that he is a fearless poker player. He does not care about the money. He plays for the love and thrill of the game. Even if he’s down, Antonius does not get out. He continues to hang in when others would quit, tails between their legs.

Despite being crushed by pr1nnyraid at the $300/$600 tables for a lost of $150,000 (more than many of us make in a year or two), the undaunted Finn, perhaps encouraged by the frozen Viking blood that runs in his veins, took things on over to a new table, with even bigger stakes and came out more than half a million up.

Gotta love the brass ones on the Finnish poker icon, don’t you?
