Patrik Antonius is having a good week online.

Patrik Antonius raked in nearly $900,000 over last week online. Last Sunday, Antonius collected the majority of that profit – some $684,000 – in a game of $500/$1,000 HA (Texas Hold’em/Omaha Hi). The short-handed session was played against Tom ‘durrrr’ Dwan, Hac ‘trex313’ Dang, Gus Hansen, Phil Ivey and Ilari ‘Ziigmund’ Sahamies.

A big confrontation occurred between the two Finnish players (Antonius & Sahamies).

Here’s how it went down:

Sahamies opened with his pair of aces for $3,000. Antonius three-bet to $9k. Sahamies came back over the top for $27,000. Antonius called and they both checked a flop of K,Q,6. A 3 came on the turn, and Antonius made a pot-sized bet of $54k. Sahamies went in for $92k. Antonius called back and flipped over trip queens (Q,Q,J,9).

Sahamies desperately needed an ace on the river to take the pot back from his fellow countryman. Unfortunately, the river was a six of hearts and Antonius raked in $239,000 for the one pot alone.

As a result, the Finnish Adonis is up nearly $4,000,000 online in 2009.
