Bluff names WSOP top Power 20

Brian Thomas - 25 Feb 2009

The World Series of Poker has once again landed on the top of Bluff Magazine’s Power 20. No surprise!

Bluff Magazine, which is no bluff when it comes to poker reporting, has announced that for the third year straight the headliner of their Power 20 is non other than the WSOP itself.

The Power 20 is a list put together by Bluff that names the 20 most influential or powerful entities (that’s organizations, business or individuals) in the world of poker.

The WSOP leads the world of poker, setting standards for quality of play and types of events. This is the major reason that Bluff Magazine picked the WSOP as the leader this year, and in the preceding two years.

Lest the WSOP rest on their laurels, the additional pressure from the recognition should help to keep Jeffrey Pollack and the rest of the crew on their toes to keep improving player experiences and the relationships between the poker community and the WSOP.

The rest of the Power 20 can be found in the current issue of Bluff Magazine.

By the way, if you want to see why the WSOP is so great first hand, visit Ladbrokes Poker here and qualify for a $5,000 Vegas Dream package vacation, which gives you three shots at winning a seat to the WSOP main event while you are in Sin City!
