Borgata Deep Stack guarantee has $500,000 in prize pool money. The tournament takes place from May 17 – 20, 2009.
The Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa in Atlantic City, New Jersey has announced details of its $500,000 Guaranteed Prize Pool Tournament. The event will take place from Sunday May 17 – Wednesday, May 20, 2009.
Fresh off the success of the casino’s Deep Stack tournament back in March, the Borgata will offer players a championship event for a $1,650 buy-in. The tournament has a 30,000 starting stack.
The Guaranteed Deep Stack tournament has two starting days (Sunday May 17 and Monday, May 18). The event, which will be held in the 85-table poker room, is expected to attract local and regional players.
Four qualifying events for the $1,650 tournament will take place on:
• Sunday, May 10 at 11AM ($165 + $35)
• Friday, May 15 at 4PM ($330 + $50)
• Saturday, May 16 at 11AM ($330 + $50)
• Sunday, May 17 at 4PM ($330 + $50)
For the $165 + 35 event, one player in ten will win an entry to the Deep Stack Guaranteed; whereas, for the $330 + 50 event, one player in five will get their buy-in to the tournament.
