PokerStar’s Joe Hachem and Shane Warne join forces to raise funds, and you could take a seat with them at their charity poker tournament.
Registration is now open for the 2008 Joe Hachem & Shane Warne Poker Tournament, where the two down- under stars will play poker at the Crown Poker Room at the Crown Melbourne. Funds drawn in by the celebrities’ appearance will be contributed to the Shane Warne Foundation.
Warne, who has started a second career in poker, is joined by Joe Hachem, the man who brought high stakes, global poker attention to Australia when he won the 2005 World Series of Poker in Las Vegas.
To play in the 2008 Joe Hachem & Shane Warne Poker Tournament costs $1k, and a $25k first prize is guaranteed.
Joe and Shane are not the online poker celebrities who will appear -- every table will have at least one, including the ever- entertaining Tony G.
