Everest Poker WSOP qualifiers rewarded with cash

Over one hundred Everest Poker qualifiers to the WSOP will share in more than $100k

Once again, all Everest Poker qualifiers cashed in Las Vegas with the $1 Million Match! This year, 112 Everest Poker players will be sharing in $111,789!

Following the Live the Dream Team’s Sigurd Eskeland winning the first Everest Poker bracelet in Event #48 ($260,497), 14 Everest qualifiers cashed in Events #54 and #57 to guarantee another successful $1 Million Match in 2010! Notable qualifiers included: 

Daan Slutter — a member of the original Live the Dream Team, the Dutchman outlasted over 7000 players to finish in 128th place at the Main Event. Daan returns to Holland $57,102 richer.

Mikael Johansson —EPEC 2010 winner from Sweden finished 105th and cashed $3,182 in Event #54, his first-ever Series tournament.

In addition to qualified players, sponsored Everest players continued to post impressive showings following Sigurd’s championship run. Of the Team Everest players, France’s Fabrice Soulier made it the farthest, cashing $24,079 upon busting in Day 5 of the Main Event.

Sponsored Spanish players also made quite a splash in the Main Event, with the Live the Dream Team’s Javier Martinez posting the best finish of all Everest players, cashing $79,806 in 90th place. Joining him in the money were brothers Luis and Pablo Ubierna, who cashed $57,102 (130th) and $36,463 (375th), respectively.
