Serena DaSilva - 1 Sep 2008

Full Tilt Poker is bringing back the Million Dollar Cash Game for a third season which takes place in London on September 17th and 18th. Last season, poker prodigy Phil Ivey set a record. He took down more than $807,000 in one hand. It was the largest amount won in a televised cash game.

The series, which will be produced by Emblaze Productions, is open to players by invitation only. Each player has to put up $180,000 (about GBP 100,000) of his/her own money. Ivey will be making a return for Season 3. Also on the roster are Chris Ferguson, Patrik Antonius, Gus Hansen, Mike Matusow, Phil Hellmuth, Tom “Durrrr” Dwan, Tony G and several others. David Benyamine and Doyle Brunson are also considered ‘likely’ to attend.

The event will be taped for live broadcast on Sky Sport sometime in January 2009.
