For the 2009 season, which will film from October 26 – November 5, 2008, Poker After Dark will change venue. “The Golden Nugget is thrilled to host the fifth season of NBC’s exciting, late-night poker program,” said Brett Kellerman, chief operating officer for the property. The Golden Nugget, which has been home to several big-time poker productions and tournaments, seems like a natural fit for Poker After Dark’s fifth season.
Joining hostess Leeanne Tweeden at the Nugget’s all-new events center are some of the biggest names in poker such as Daniel Negreanu, Phil Ivey, Howard Lederer, Erick Lindgren, Gus Hansen, Jennifer Harman and many others. Sixty episodes of the new season will begin airing on NBC December 29th at 2.05 am ET/PT Tuesdays thru Saturdays. On Sundays, there is a Director’s Cut after Saturday Night Live (at 1.00 am ET).
