Ilari "Ziigmund" Sahamies is a bold and brash player whether online or off. The young Icelandic player lives for high stakes action. However, he's down about $1.3 million thus far in 2008. That's a figure that would daunt some, but not Ziigmund.
He keeps plugging away at the biggest games on the 'net and has been caught in a bit of a rush as of late. So far this month, he's up more than $785,000.
A big boost to his bankroll came courtesy of Cole South at Full Tilt Poker. South, who was instrumental in a key high stakes hand with David Benyamine not too long ago, was playing against Sahamies at the $200/$400 NLHE tables.
