Live PKR Poker Popular

The online spilled into the real world recently when the first annual PKR Live tournament was held in London and declared a success.

Held at the Loose Cannon Club in London, the live PKR event gave players a chance to see how realistic the famous PKR avatars were -- did the players look like the avatars they created?

This was just part of the fun, however, as the main focus was the $75k prize pool and the mingling of 150 players from the UK, Germany, France, Canada and Scandinavia. Some of those players admitted they played foul with people’s expectations when playing online, such as the big fellows who play with avatars that are less masculine -- okay, they play women, citing that women are treated differently at the poker table and they want to take advantage of that.

The duplicity aside, players all enjoyed themselves, and its hard to walk away with a bunch of cash in your pocket and complain.
