Ultimate Bet announced the signing of former pre-med student turned poker pro Matt Graham to their roster.

Matt Graham is 25 years old. A former pre-med student, Graham is known online as mattg1983. He won his first WSOP bracelet last summer after defeating Jean-Robert Bellande heads-up in Event #53 ($1,500 Limit Hold’em Shootout). Graham also took down a $5k preliminary event at the Five Diamond World Poker Classic last December and has amassed nearly $1,000,000 of live tournament earnings.

Of the signing, Annie Duke said, “I am so thrilled to have Matt Graham on the team. Matt epitomizes the all-around poker player. He has great results in all the games, live or online. Matt is an amazing addition to the Ultimatebet.com team.”

Graham, for his part, looks “forward to the opportunity to represent UltimateBet.com both online and in the live arena.” He goes on to say that, “I never would have thought I would be a site pro when I began my online poker career at UltimateBet.com four years ago, but now here I am. I am very excited to be a part of the future of this site.”

Summary: Matt Graham and Ultimate Bet express their pleasure at Graham’s recent signing on as a poker pro with the site.
