Phil Ivey won $600,000 in one online poker session
Phil Ivey is one of the most recognized poker players in the world both online and off, and his continued success at poker rooms like Full Tilt Poker, where he plays as a pro, help cement his reputation.
Recently he played Luukie21 at $500(£310)/$1,000 pot-limit Omaha for a 700-hand session that wound up with Ivey pocketing more than half a million dollars. The $600k works out to more than a thousand dollars pocketed per hand.
Ivey is such a successful poker player that he actually had to ask how much he had won earlier this year when he picked up his eighth bracelet at the World Series of Poker.
