The Gaming Lifestyle Expo, known as PokerPalooza, takes place from July 2 - 5, 2009 at the Rio during the WSOP.
The Gaming Lifestyle Expo is the world’s largest poker exposition. It makes a return to the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino from July 2 – 5, 2009. Dubbed “PokerPalooza”, the event will have the same access to poker and lifestyle exhibitors. However, the event will expand the focus paid to fun, social and interactive elements.
Taking place in the Rio Pavilion in the Rio Convention Center in Las Vegas, PokerPalooza takes place just steps away from the tournament area at the time of the start of the World Series of Poker Main Event.
Attractions will be divided into a number of grouped categories, which are designed to appeal to professionals, amateurs, newbies and everyone in between. Ty Stewart, Marketing Director for the WSOP, says of the event, “It’s going to be part trade show, part carnival, all fun.”
Several WSOP champions are expected to be on hand signing autographs. There will be book signings and seminars too. Obviously, poker-related products will be available to look at and even purchase.
Admission to the event is free and open to anyone 21 or older.
