Koester Wins $27,500 in First Tournament at TitanPoker on 8.3.08

Reimer Koester signed up to play online at Titan Poker on July 31, 2008. Four days later, the German ‘poker player’ entered his first tournament at the online poker room, a $250,000 GTD event. He competed against about 2,000 other players. Nearly seven and a half hours later, Koester was playing heads-up in the hopes of winning the whole tournament.

Unfortunately, he had to settle for second place and $27,500. Of course, the German is not terribly upset about his case of ‘beginner’s luck’. As Koester said, “I'm very happy that I did well in my very first tournament at Titan Poker. The tournament went smoothly and was a lot of fun - from the very start I managed to play well. Next time I'll try for first place.”

We don’t doubt that he can do it. Watch out, world! Reimer’s on the loose!

Head on over to TitanPoker now and find out how you can win your way to the Australia Poker Cup 2008!
