The PartyPoker Poker Den: The Big Game III will begin filming next month. This time the game will run for a whopping 36 hours. It will take place in East London’s Poker Den and will be filmed for TV. Some of the biggest names in poker will take part in the festivities. Tony G, David “Devilfish” Ulliott, Jamie Gold, Robert Williamson III and Roland De Wolfe are amongst those who have confirmed their willingness to return.

Phil Laak and his galpal Jennifer Tilly, Mike “The Mouth” Matusow and WSOPE 2007 Main Event runner up John Tabatabai will most likely make an appearance in this series, which is scheduled to air on Channel 5 in early 2009. Party Poker is also going to make things interesting by introducing the “Party Pot” in which players can win $1,000 bonuses from selected hands each hour.

According to Eddie Hearn, the Head of Online Gaming at Matchroom Sport, “The Poker Den has come such a long way since we started it back in the summer of 2005. The Big Game has been such a huge success…The format has become one of the most popular amongst international broadcasters and with this series being 8 hours longer, some players have boasted that they can go the full 36 hours without a break - and that I can't wait to see. "

The show will be filmed between September 30th and October 1, 2008. Jesse May, “The Voice of Poker” will again return to do commentary and host. A native of Madison, New Jersey, May found fame presenting Late Night Poker and is currently a popular host of Matchroom Sports poker programs.
