The World Poker Tour is expanding. The TV series, which helped change the face of poker in the United States has been going global for quite some time, making headway in Europe and certain Asian markets. Now, an announcement has been made that the World Poker Tour will air in India. Yes, India.
Beginning in September, Zee Sports, India’s first private sports network, will begin airing episodes of the poker series. Zee Sports will air 19, two-hour episodes from season four. The network will also heavily promote the series. In addition Zee Sports will also air soccer, cricket, tennis, motor sports and golf.
