BetfairPoker has announced the next tourney in its Portuguese poker circuit with the Betfair Portuguese Poker Tour at the Casino da Figueira.
This time around, the BPPT will be visiting the seaside resort town of Figueira da Foz, in what promises to be yet another success in Betfair's Portuguese Poker Tour.
Betfair's 5th Portuguese live tournament will take place between the 9th and 14th June 2009, at the Casino Figueira (Main Event is 11th-14th June).
Located half way between Lisbon and Porto, on the delta of the Mondego river, Figueira da Foz is a costal city with beaches, tourist and seaport facilities and plenty to do in the summer
The Main Event will have a buyin of €500+€50, and will be deepstack (15,000 starting chips, with one hour levels) to ensure maximum playability. There will be plenty of live satellites on the 9th and 10th June, and lots of side events throughout the “poker filled” week.

You can qualify online exclusively on Betfair Poker, where satellites will be available as of now in the Betfair Poker lobby.
There are Seat-Only satellites as well as Package satellites where winners receive a $2,000 package to cover the tournament buyin and expenses.
