G Casino Poker is hosting online qualifiers for the upcoming GUKPT Brighton
Leg 7 of the Grosvenor UK Poker Tour gets underway on Monday with a full week of tournaments at the G Casino, Brighton sandwiching the £1,000 + £70 Main Event on Friday 8th October.
Two starting flights will share the same start day, kicking off at 12 noon and 6:30pm. With six side events including a Pot Limit Omaha double chance freezeout (on Wednesday) and starting with the £200 + £20 NL Hold’em freezeout on Monday evening, the Brighton leg is always a popular stop on the GUKPT and draws a crowd to the seaside even though Autumn has arrived with its suitcase of potential rain.
In 2009 Brighton hosted the first stop on the tour, bringing together 235 runners to play for a prizepool just shy of a quarter of a million pounds in the Main Event. Bernard Litman took the ’09 title and top prize of £70,520 along with a seat in the Champion of Champions event (all side event winners, as ever, qualify for this year’s £150,000 freeeroll as well as the Main Event champion).

Saturday 9th October: £60 NL Hold'em Rebuy Super Satellite to Grand Final 2.30pm (1 day)
Saturday 9th October: £250 + £25 NL Hold'em Freezeout 7.30pm (2 days)
Sunday 10th October: £100 + £10 NL Hold'em Bounty Tournament 5.00pm (1 day)
Qualifying online at G Casino Poker or live next week – Wednesday at 8:30pm the G Casino hosts the last £150 freezeout Super Satellite to the Brighton Main Event.
