Today, July 11th, at 2pm ET Party Poker will be hosting a guaranteed prize pool tournament: the "$10K Gtd" NL Hold'em tournament. The entry fee is $109 (including fee) and the format is No Limit Hold 'em. Final table deal making will be available should you last that deep into the tournament.
The blinds in this tournament are going to be moving fairly slow with only 15 minute increments and they will start at 20/40. The starting stack will have a healthy 3000 chips meaning you'll be empowered to play your best game without having to worry too much about blinds stacking you off, at least for the first hour and a bit. With a $109 entry fee, a lot of players will turn down this tournament and truthfully Party Poker doesn't always get all of the entrants it needs to cover their guarantees which means you can register and hope a bit for a low turnout as they will be on the hook for the prize pool anyways.
