Play against the Best of the Best during PokerStars All Star Week
All Star Week is back for another exciting clash between Team PokerStars Pro and PokerStars top performers - the Challengers! The two teams will line up for five heads-up matches per day July 26-August 1 - a total of 35 matches. The winning team will be the one that scores the most wins over the course of the competition. In 2009 the result went to the final matches, but it was Team PokerStars Pro that ended up 18-17 winners.
The All Star Week Challengers will be comprised of 30 players from the Sunday Major tournaments, SCOOP, WCOOP, the Yearly TLB, Supernova Elites and also three wildcard spaces
Each of the matches will feature a $1,000 prize pool and the overall winning team will collect $25,000. The Challengers will be playing for their own bankroll and that of their teammates, as they will split the $25,000 team prize. Any money won by the pros will be added to the prize pool of a special $11 ‘All Star Week Fans Tournament’ on August 8 at 16:00 ET.
