Get ready for 2009 WCOOP with these satellites running at PokerStars on Tuesday, September 1st
There are twenty two satellites running on Tuesday at PokerStars just for the 2009 World Championship of Online Poker, which starts in just a few days. These events give players the chance to secure a seat in a WCOOP event for a lot less than the direct buy in.
The World Championship of Online Poker is the biggest online poker series running this year so far, and has more than doubled in size (in terms of events and prize pool guarantees) since it started in 2007.
This year there will be 45 events and $40 million in prize pool guarantees on the line. The satellites running on Tuesday can be found in the PokerStars lobby under Events, WCOOP. Sort by date to find those for September 1st – to find out which WCOOP event each satellite corresponds to, click on a satellite and then check the info box in the upper right of the room window.
