Stan James Poker will be hosting their €5000 GTD High Stack tournament on November 24th (that's about $7500 US). The entry fee is €100 + 9 and the format of the tournament will be No Limit Texas Hold'em.
This tournament has three features which help distinguish it from many other tournaments on the Internet on Tuesday.
Firstly, the blinds will only be increasing every 20 minutes while more and more tourneys seem to be opting for the quicker 15 minute intervals. That means it will take longer before action is dictated by the threatening blinds so you can be patient if you want to be.
Also, the action is going to be 8 seated which is a break away from the standard 9 seat and 10 seat tournaments. Having only 8 players means that the hands play just that much quicker.
Lastly, the tournament features a great starting stack of 5000 chips which when combined with the slow blinds should mean you can work your stack for a while before making your move.
