If the entry fee is too steep then you can satellite in, either with scheduled satellites or Sit 'n' Go satellites and those satellite prize pools cost just over $10. The levels start at 10/20 and will be incremented every 15 minutes. With the starting stack at 2000 and the add on providing another 2500 chips, you should be able to hang out for awhile if you don't get playable cards.
