Two-Card Manilla Rules

Deanna Goodson - 29 Jan 2009

2-card manila is one of the most popular games spread in Australian casinos. Also known as Seven Up Poker, only 32 cards in the deck are used – the cards that are seven and higher.

Each player is dealt two cards in the hole. He or she must use both of those cards with three from the board to make the best possible hand. A variation of hold’em, two card manila deals out the first community card at the same time the hole cards are dealt.

Then, each of the subsequent four cards is dealt individually with betting rounds after the card hits the felt.

Flushes beat full houses because of the way the deck is used.
