Because Dan Harrington is known for being a super-tight player, he can make the occasional bluff. His table image is solid. Players don’t expect him to come into the hand unless he’d got something good. In this hand, that table image works to Dan’s advantage and gets his opponent to fold the best hand.

Minh Ly - makes the call.

The Flop - 2, 7, 6
Minh Ly - this high stakes cash master bets out $200k.
Dan Harrington - Dan makes the unexpected call.

The Turn - J
Minh is now hurting over his pair of sixes and shows it by checking. Action Dan makes the move and pushes out $300k, saying this is his pot.

Minh was flummoxed and not sure what to do. In the end he did just what Dan wanted and folded the best hand.
