Tom Schneider takes down two WSOP events, makes a third final table, becomes WSOP Player of the Year and becomes a WPT ‘legend.’ This former CEO who makes his home in Scottsdale, Arizona has wasted no time in becoming a top tournament professional.

In 2007, Schneider took home two World Series of Poker braceletsin Event #5, Omaha Hi-Lo and Stud Hi-Lo mixed tourney and Event #46, Seven Card Stud Hi-lo. He also finished fourth in the HORSE event. His strong finish in these three events was enough to earn him the prestigious title of World Series of Poker Player of the Year.

About a month later, Schneider made a final table at the World Poker Tour’s Legends of Poker event. His fourth place finish added $228,000 to his million plus tournament earnings to date. Later on, Schneider took 22nd position at the California State Poker championships. He followed that up with an eighth-place finish at the WSOPC Event in Indiana and final table appearances at the NPL Vegas Open and the Five Diamond World Poker Classic.

We can’t wait to see what he does in 2008.
