World Poker Tour Planning a Slovakia Stop

The World Poker Tour is heading to Slovakia this August.

First there was Venice. Then, Morocco and Spain. Later on, the WPT announced dates for a Cyprus tournament.

Now, the World Poker Tour shows that it’s going truly global. The tournament series has announced it’s heading to Slovakia. WPT Slovakia, a €4,000 event, is slated for Aug. 31 through Sept. 5 in Bratislava, Slovakia Republic.

Steve Lipscomb admitted that the WPT is looking to expand its brand. As he said, “Our goal is to bring value to our partners and WPTE shareholders as we expand our global footprint.
