Omaha and Seven Card Stud are on the way at Everest Poker, but at the moment the game choice is limited to Texas Hold’em. No Limit, Pot Limit and Fixed Limit are all available.
Everest Poker has around 5,000 players at peak hours in their Ring games.
Players are seeing the flop as much as 60% of the time in many of the games at Everest Poker, even at some of the higher stake levels. Most rooms have tighter games as the stakes go up, but Everest seems to be fairly loose across the board.
Everest Poker offers a lower than industry standard rake, which is good news to cash game players. The rake is at 4% and is capped at $3, (standard is 5% and capped at $5) and in addition to the no flop, no drop (if there is no flop no rake is taken) no rake is taken on pots that don’t equal at least three times the big blind. If only two players are at a table the rake cap is only $1—all in all, Everest is a very cash-game friendly site.
Everest Poker Support is 24/7, but only available via email. To top it off, players must fill out a support request form. Live chat and telephone support would be welcome, but the email response time is good.
