Paddy Power offers a great poker product and might rival the more popular poker sites in the not too distant future (the same can't be said about a lot of sites). The traffic is solid and good enough to maintain generous guaranteed prize pool tournaments while also offering enough ring games, even in the mid-range levels. Also the rake and tournament fees with this site meet industry standards (many poker room''s do not) with less rake or fees being collected (percentage wise) at higher stakes.
The variants of poker that are offered are Texas Hold'em, Stud (5 card and 7 card), Omaha Hi and Omaha Hi-Lo. Tables are typically played either 10 handed or 6 handed (9 handed was not found). For some inexplicable reason, the game play in this poker room is actually slower than at a lot of other poker rooms but maybe some people will like that fact (people just seem to think more before making decisions, although only a little bit).
The poker room offers ample special tournaments including satellites and super satellites to land based events, like the Irish Winter Festival which is a major poker event in Ireland.
There is a deposit bonus of 150% and after taking a close look at it, we think that it is attainable given that you get 90 days to fulfill your obligations (some other sites only allow you 60 days, or even 30!).
The in game experience has a few things that stand out. During tournaments the time until the level changes is displayed in the top right corner as is the time until the next break.
