Done!
The Stan James Poker sofware has a polished feel to it. There are 3 different lobbies you can select from, two of which are a bit cluttered. They all vary in accessibility and filtering options, so you're sure to find one to your taste. There are several bold information tabs at the bottom of the lobby, making navigation easy.
Statistics
The detailed Stan James lobby displays average pot size, number of hands per hour, and percentage of players going to the flop, allowing you to pick out the quickest and loosest games. You can configure tracking tools such as Pokertracker 3.0 to import Microgaming hand history data.
Multi-Table
By clicking the 'tile windows' option, you can play up to eight tables quite comfortably. However, graphical quality diminishes quite a bit, and animations don't seem as smooth. Manually re-sizing tables is a bit of a hassle, as windows shudder and suffer slowdown.
Graphics
The emerald green table background is rich and vibrant, however the brown, patterned surroundings are a bit drab. Overall, the graphics are crisp and clear, with cards easily visible. Animations are very smooth, although there is a notable pause when chips 'cascade' into your virtual stack, which can get frustrating. The illuminous green lobby is a bit imposing, although the tabs at the bottom are easily definable.
Special Features
There's not too much in terms of innovation, apart from the different lobby views and ultra smooth chip animations. An extensive 'buddy' tool allows you to keep track of your friends (and hopefully fish, should they accept you) on the tables.
