And a pro finally takes down a match! Allen Cunningham breaks the cold streak for the pro team by winning Event 13, the World Championship Pot-Limit Hold'em $5,000 event. Allen already had four WSOP bracelets to his name, but these things are like Lays Potato Chips to the pros- you can't have just one.
Taking on Allen in heads up play was none other than Jeffery Lisandro, after Humberto Brenes and his “Chark” were busted out in round three (man, I hope he tried his antics on Lisandro…I can't wait to see Jeffery's reaction to Humberto.)
With these two super pros left out of the 398 entries and over $700k of the $1,870,600 prize pool left to go it was bound to be a good show.
