'Celebrity? Are they for real?'
Yes, that's right! Now you, too, can play poker with quasi-celebrities and B-list stars! Okay, that might be a little harsh, but truth be told I'm not sure I recognize a quarter of the "Famous Faces" listed at Hollywood Poker. While the celebrity roster seems to have more than it's fair share of the "15 minutes of fame" crowd, there are some genuine stars in the Green Room. James Woods seems determined to carry the torch all by himself, but there are others as well. Of course, there is something to be said for the chance to beat up on Ant. Er, that is, beat Ant at poker.
Hollywood Poker's whole schtick is the chance for regular folks to play with the famous and nearly famous during online poker events. The current line up shows the next celebrity to hit the tables is Mad TV's Nicole Sullivan. Here is hoping she is as funny online as she is on TV. Of course, there are plenty of other reasons to play in the event, such as a shot at a WSOP Seat, and money.
