eCOGRA Global Online Gambler Report
Are you worried about the future of online poker? Well, are you doing anything about it? In addition to checking out the Poker Player's Alliance and, for US citizens, contacting your local congressman in an effort to be heard, you can also take part in this 80-some question survey by eCOGRA, the organization that gives out the "Stamp of Approval" to online casinos and poker sites. eCommerce and Online Gaming Regulation and Assurance is what it stands for, and they are sending out the word about a player survey, one that is supposed to be the largest such survey ever taken.
Surely some of the information will go to benefit eCOGRA, but it only takes about five minutes to run through, and is completely anonymous. Give it shot! The results of the 'eCOGRA Global Online Gambler Report' should be made public in January 2007.
