Ash Hussain Becomes Grosvenor UK Poker Tour Champion of Champions
Last weekend, the Grosvenor UK Poker Tour (GUKPT) held its very first installment of the Champion of Champions Event. 87 players were invited to play. Each of these had won an event during the GUKPT 2008 season. Ash Hussain defeated Dave Rudling after nearly an hour of heads-up play to take the title and the £20,000 first place prize.
Marc Goodwin finished third in the tournament and received the GUKPT Player of the Year nod.
