Heartland Poker Tour Heads to Hooters

The Heartland Poker Tour, or the HPT as it's commonly referred to, is one of the top three televised poker productions in the United States . In 2007, the series is expected to air in over 119 million homes in Europe and Asia . Last year's events hit the US by storm and were broadcast to over 50 million in the 'land of the free.'
The series was created for players in local casinos and neighborhood poker rooms across the country. It's often referred to as the Minor Leagues of Poker. Producer Todd Anderson says that the Heartland Poker Tour “was designed and developed to give players everywhere a chance to make it to the Big Time.”
The 2007 season kicks off at Hooters Casino/Hotel in Las Vegas , NV from January 25-29. It's a tropical-themed hotel/casino where you can relax and have fun in the sun. Better yet! HPT recipients get a special room rate should they decide to stay at the hotel during the five-day event.
