Latin American Poker Tour Heads to Nuevo Vallarta in December
Poker Stars is the sponsor of the Latin American Poker Tour (LAPT). Ryan Fee , a 20 year old from Philadelphia, PA, recently took down the San Jose tournament in Costa Rica. Since its inception in 2007, the LAPT has been an “overwhelming success, demonstrating the enormous growth and expansion of poker across Latin America and the appeal of these venues for international players,” according to the tour's President Glenn Cademartoni.
As a result, the LAPT has decided to expand. Earlier this week, an announcement was made that the LAPT will stop in Nuevo Vallarta, Mexico from December 5th – 7th, 2008. The event will be held at the beautiful beachfront Marival Resort & Suites.
The Latin American Poker Tour also mentioned that in Season 2 they will add tour dates in countries such as Argentina and Chile.
