Perry Gets Ernest and Wins WSOPC Preliminary Title
446 players entered the second event of the 2009 WSOPC Tunica at Harrah's in Mississippi, generating a $129,786 total prize pool. Perry Ernest took down his second circuit title in this event. His first came in Event #1 at the Horseshoe Hammond in 2008.
Ernest came from behind – he had just 3% of the chips in play when the action was ten-handed – to win the title and more than $32,000 for his efforts.
