Schedule for the 2008 United States Poker Championships

Held at the Trump Taj Mahal in Atlantic City, New Jersey, the United States Poker Championship has been won by some of the biggest names in the game such as Daniel Negreanu (1999), Men Nguyen (2001), John “World” Hennigan (2002), Toto Leonidas and (2003). Eight-time WSOP bracelet-winner Erik Seidel has been runner-up in this event twice (in both 2002 & 2003).

In 2007, Adam Gerber , a resident of Moorestown, NJ, won the event and $606,095 for his efforts. He outlasted more than 160 players including Anand “Victor” Ramdin, a former WPT Foxwoods Main Event champion, en route to the title.

This year's United States Poker Championship (USPC) kicks off on September 14, 2008 and features a total of 24 events, 11 of which are NLHE. There will be a Ladies Only and a Seniors Event as part of the series. The rest will be open events, which means anyone can enter. New to the series are a H.O.S.E. tourney and a mixed Pot Limit Omaha/Hold'em event.
